  4. nice find on that reference! I should post a few more of these crazy achievements. The other day I read an old paper where they did PCR, by hand, with three water baths — 30 times!

    The Japanese dude who just got Nobel in chemistry for green fluorescent protein isolated that thing from a heroic quantities of jellyfish, like ten thousands of them.
