big duct tape

OK, this warrants a new category: great finds. Look at the size of this roll of duct tape I found in lab:

If regular duct tape is the most useful tool in lab and in life, then this roll is doubly useful! But actually, I can’t really think of many uses for duct tape that wide: it’s hard to handle and regular duct tape can do just about everything this roll can do.

Oh, wait! I just thought of a great purpose:

  3. Well … I guess this website was something of a disappointment. From the “About” section I expected more science and more chemistry and mroe everyday science. My disappointment is not your problem, nor really your fault – I just expected something else based on the name. Instead its just the usual tedious stuff one can find on other blogs. I’m sure you must be bright fellows. What’s the difference between the “science blog” and the “non-science blog?” (Please don’t waste your time answering that rhetorical question because the obvious problem here is my expectations, not your blog.) I’m sure there are plenty of other people who appreciate your website.
