Atoms and Molecules – A Child’s Guide to Chemistry

My labmate wrote a chemistry book for children … and his daughter did the illustrations. It succinctly describes atoms, orbitals, bonding, molecules, and biomolecules.

I highly recommend it.

  2. Orbitals (or, as it’s written here, ‘electron waves’) should be forbidden until our creatures are at least 21, for the sake of their souls… or at least to let them understand that chemistry is easy and amazing, in spite of teachers who prefer “orbitalism” to real chemistry…
