My 1995 Toyota Tercel broke the 200,000-mile mark this (Sunday) morning while driving in to lab:

My little friend has taken me from Portland, ME to Chapel Hill, NC and back many many times. It also made if from Chapel Hill to Palo Alto, CA and back 1.5 times. And it’s still going strong!

  4. It went to Texas, too. And was this the same one that you drove into the river?

  5. It went to Texas on the way to CA on one of those trips, right? And no, that was my previous Tercel that I got stuck in the river. It ran for a few years after that…

  6. Hmm, I wonder whether the carbon footprint is better for going to Texas by car or taking a plane ;-)Maybe you should take an air-powered car next time, haha.
