Huh? Does this look like a football play to anyone else? Is this normal for NOE? Can someone enlighten me?

You’ve probably already answered this question, but I got bored waiting for some IR spectra and looked at some of the old posts…
Totally looks like a play. All that’s missing are the x’s and o’s.
Doesn’t this just show which protons are coupled through space? Not the most artistic way to represent it though.
